Hi, my name is Joan. As short as my name is, it has been pronounced in a lot of ways.

I was born and raised in the Philippines, in an island in the south called Mindanao pronounced min-da-now. I have lived most of my life in Iligan City, one of the small cities in Mindanao. Left my hometown when I was in college and settled in Metro Manila until I moved to the Wichita, Kansas in May of 2003.

I am a mid-1970's born stay-at-home mother of boy/girl twins and I have been married to Joe since June 2003.
